One of Nottingham’s biggest advantages is that the city is very compact, making it easy to get around by foot especially from one bar to the next. As a result in recent years the city has been renowned for its nightlife and the emergence of a vibrant late-night bar scene.
With over 400 bars and clubs in and around the city centre you have something for everyone and remember with Megaclose accommodation you are only a short walk from all the excitement. A lot of the action happens within the rejuvenated Lace Market/Hockley area where all the fashionable bars like The Hockley Arts Club have emerged. While in the city centre Prysm promises a lively night out and Rock City provides the latest cutting edge music.

Nottingham is certainly a shoppers paradise from Paul Smith and Hugo Boss to H&M and New Look, you can go from designer to the best of the high street in a couple of steps. If you work up an appetite while shopping don’t worry there are over 300 places to eat in the city centre alone.
While for all you sporting fans a trip down to City ground is certainly worth a day out, a jar or two at the South Bank and sing you heart out for your local university football team. The heydays of European champions (1979 and 1980) may be fading memories but it is still a good day out, especailly now we are back in Premership.
