At Megaclose our prime concern is ensuring that you have a comfortable and safe stay. While some safety and security measures are statutory requirements we have taken our responsibilities a step further. To follow is a list of safety and security measures on offer in all our properties.
All gas appliances are serviced and CORGI certified annually in accordance with the Gas Safety Installation & Use Act
All electrical appliances supplied by Megaclose such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines and microwaves are P.A.T (portable appliance tested) tested and certified annually.
All properties carry valid NICEIC certificates for mains electrics. This ensures that all wiring in Megaclose properties conform to the latest safety standards.
All mains smoke/fire detection equipment is tested and certified annually. This ensures that in the unfortunate event of a fire, you can rely on the equipment
All furniture provided in Megaclose properties conforms to the requirements of the Furniture in Rented Accommodation Act.
All burglar alarms are tested annually and recoded for new tenants.
In every kitchen we provide a fire extinguisher and fire blanket as standard.
All external door locks are compliant with local government regulations (immediate escape in event of fire).
In the event of ANY emergency, there is a fully qualified response team available 24 hours a day.
